Feels like my fuel pump is not delivering the proper amount of fuel when attempting to start only after i refuel. Starts normal on the 2nd try of starting. The more fuel i put the more it feels like it dont want to start but when i add just a little fuel its not so bad but still a little hesitant. Any input of what might cause this problem?

It actually getting too much gas upon restart after fuel tank fill .. Raw fuel is entering the EVAP vapor purge circuit and *flooding* the engine .. Holding accelerator to floor will help engine starting after refueling .. Never top off fuel tank when filling! .. This is not a DIY fix so a trip to the repair shop is recommended for full scan test... Suspect purge valve stuck in open position but hands-on testing is required to confirm.
Ill try replacing the purge valve itself hopefully it solves the problem. If problem still persists ill take it in and get the emisions scaned. Pushrod also i noticed that when i rev the engine the rpm's suddenly cut out at about 45k rpm's. Not like the engine wants to die out or anything it just seems as if it is limited to a certain rpm upon reving in park. Never seen this knd of activity with any of my cars as i can red line the rpm's in them but not my impala. Not sure what can cause this except for something within the emission system. Can this be related to a stuck purge valve aswell?
