What is your question?
2000 impala when I put headlights on I lose my taillights.Checked fuses 2 blown c/ltr (cigarette lighter) and rear parklp.so I replaced both when possible,As soon as I turn headlights on I hear a pop in the pass.side fuse box and lose taillights. 9 out of 10 times I cant get the c/ltr fuse back in. It blows fuses when I try to insert it.So I decide to just put rear park lp fuse back in and left c/ltr fuse out.Now once again I have tailights everything working good. But if I put c/ltr fuse back in they blow and i lose taillights when headlights come on.Any idea what to do next? Is there a short? Why is this happen and how to fix?Thank you

I checked cig.lighter it looks just fine and have nothening else plugged in.Maybe a stupid question and may not have anything to do with. But is common for when c/ltr fuse to blow that a rear park lp fuse blows with it? Not on same circuit would they be?Do those 2 fuses have anything to do with each? Can't seem to find a wiring diagram to see what wiring goes to what without paying $20 or more but guess i'll have to sooner or later. Thanks Pushrod for your help
The cigarette lighter/power socket is not on a single circuit - by itself - what else is not functioning as it should when that particular fuse is removed? .... A lot of times that same fuse is also considered the courtesy fuse, that may very well be tied into the tail light circuit via the dash or accessory lighting. This may need to go to a repair facility .. Electrical problem can be difficult to pin point - even for a seasoned technician.
