I have a new engine spark plugs also bought a new opti crank sensor and also have a brand new fuel pump I'm not understanding why when I accelerate on the gas it stall and it will cut off and it takes a while before it cranks back up the car was sitting for a little while but I don't understand what could possibly be the reason

How the fuel pressure on your year make and model it should be at 41-47 psi, When you accelerate and it stalls out the 3 main suspicious culprits would be the TPS sensor , The MAF (mass air flow) or the fuel pressure, You should see if there is a code that is set.
Hi I have a the 96 Impala I'm having the same problems that you are having I'm wondering if you found a solution
I had that problem and i replaced the fuel pressure regulator and it stopped the stalling.
My 96 impala is doing duh something it back fire i put new plugs an wires on it it idle but it cuts off when it get worm i drive it if i go to the floor it cut out
Yes fuel pressure Is good but I'm also bein told it could be my icm or my PCM I'm just gettin distracted not knowning what part is it that needs to be changed
