No clutch pressure after replacement of master and slave cylinder System was bled properly and still no clutch pressure

Hello, See if there is adjustment possible at the slave cylinder, and have someone press the clutch while you watch the slave cylinder to see if it is extending proportionately to the movement of the clutch pedal. If you see the slave cylinder pushing out and completely traveling through its range of motion then you know the issue is with the clutch side. It could be that the clutch fork has come off of the throwout bearing while the slave cylinder was removed.
IF this was not part of the original problem - - Air is still trapped in system! It can be very difficult to purge air from hydraulic clutch systems without a proper bleeding tool.
Thanks for your answer. The clutch feels like it will disengage sporadically. The original issue was clutch not disengaging at all. It goes from soft to firm for no reason
PUMP the clutch pedal - if pedal returns to normal - BLEED system until you’re tired of doing it - then bleed some more! Problem with conventional bleeding methods is the clutch master cylinder doesn’t have much volume at all - it takes a BUNCH of bleeding to purge all air out .. Also be SURE the fluid level in master cylinder remains *sufficient* during bleeding procedure Good luck!
By bleeding, you are referring to pump clutch several times and while it is depressed crack open the bleed screw, correct?
That the usual (conventional) procedure used by DIYers.
Repair shops use a vacuum or pressure bleeder - then just for good measure - pump and bleed to complete the procedure.
have you checked the shaft behind the throw out bearing. I had a piece of the old throw out bearing not letting the new one go all the way back and wouldn't let the new clutch release. Yes i felt like an idiot after taking it apart twice and still couldn't find the problem.
The slave cylinder is inside the bell housing. No way to look at the operation of it
Bleed with car running or not?
