you have to start it up in gear , and you have to hold the brake for it will take off. Then it is back to normal shifting fine .

Hydraulic clutch problem. Master cyl. full of fluid? If so, possible master or slave cylinder trouble.

Could be a shift fork, pressure plate maybe, or a rod adjustment. does it ever refuse to shift while ur driving?
