how to change oil

van has been setting for a while because it wont back up. got new batery and it will start right up, wont to change oil before i run engine a long time. am going to have trans leak fixed. THANK YOU!

I WOULD CHECK OIL LEVEL TO SEE IF OK THEN LET WHOM EVER FIXES TRANS. DO THE OIL CHANGE. WITHOUT PROPER TOOLS, DRAIN PAN ECT. JUST A MESSY JOB. THEN YOU HAVE TO DISPOSE OF OLD OIL. AND I AM SURE YOU CAN DO IT, IT JUST AIN'T WORTH THE TIME AND EFFORT.

WAY TO GO!! THE OIL FILTER MUST HAVE NOT BEEN TO TIGHT AS MOST OF THE TIME YOU NEED A WRENCH FOR THAT AS WELL.

i let it drain all night and going to take it off today, do have wrench.THANKS!

READ INSTRUCTIONS ON OIL FILTER BOX FOR INSTALL. DON'T NEED WRENCH TO TIGHTEN!!! HAND TIGHTEN PER FILTER BOX INSTRUCT.

thanks, i am almost 68 yr old and very slow so i wont have time for that. wish i had learned more about repairs when i was young. used to have money so in buying the drinks etc i had guys that wouldn't let me do the work. so now i am an old guy trying to learn. (lol) i own every tool i could need to do repairs because i always bought the tools my friends need to repair so now i am learning what they are and how to use them. again you can get a laugh from this but it is true. THANKS AGAIN!
