My 2014 Chevrolet Equinox keeps showing P0420 Code My car was brought to dealership for fixing and they charged me 1400.00 for a manifold when I google the code it says catalyst converter and a day after picking up my car the check engine light came back on, did they change the wrong part?
How long has your 2014 Chevrolet Equinox had this problem?

Hello, in many cases, the manifold contains the catalyst -- so - both and the same. However, have you verified you are out of warranty? Emissions warranty can have extended coverage.
This really should be taken up with the installer - cel light returning doesn’t necessarily indicate same problem has returned.. Good luck!
( 8 years / 80,000 miles Federal emissions warranty for catalytic converters ) Your vehicle must be past the 80,000 mile mark - I’m sure the dealer is aware of the Federal warranty period.
