Oil Consumption Problem and Catalytic Converter - what should be fixed 1st?

That makes no sense ... excessive oil consumption most likely lead to converter failure to start with! .. That question best addressed to the service department of dealer that has the vehicle .. IF no luck with the dealer .. You can always contact GM Corporate Office.

I just got a letter from Chrysler stating there was an excessive piston wear problem and that they would fix for free if my '12 was showing a problem of oil use for free. might want to contact a different dealer if they are that dumb
