What is your question?
Thought I got some bad gas but the problem continues but not all the time. When it misses the check engine light will flash but then go off, almost like when it is going through the sensors the computer is picking that up and knowing all is not right. Does a catalytic converter or fuel pump/sensor have anything to do with this.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Accelerating slowly and avoiding steep hills helps
How long has your 2009 Chevrolet Equinox had this problem?
About a month on and off

*Flashing check engine* light indicates the presence of a misfire that's severe enough to cause catalytic converter damage! Highly recommend soonest repair.. Professional scan test will be required to determine WHY misfire is occurring.
If the check engine light is flashing that indicates a very bad engine misfire. There is no sense in guessing here as this kind of mis can cause damage to the exhaust and worse. This could be fuel or ignition related and your best bet is to bring it in for a scan of the computer and a full diagnosis.
