About the '01 design

What is your question?

Locally I have discussed this question with the others. No one seems to know the answer, if there is one. Many '01 corvettes I've looked at on the internet have a raised ridge all the way down in the side cove & and a few do not. Is there reason some do & and some do not, or does it signify something. A reply would be nice. Thanks---Doug H.
