Oil pan replaced now dipstick stuck. Did mechanic do something wrong?

I had my oil pan replaced (2116 miles ago) 2016 Chevy Colorado. My low oil indicator came on. I tried to check my oil but the dipstick won't come out it's stuck.could this be something the mechanic did wrong? From what I'm reading the dipstick goes into the oil pan so I'm thinking its something they did.
