2011 Chevy Colorado 3.7 liter i5 crew cab 4×4 automatic I was running my truck down the highway at about 80 miles an hour past the semi when it seemed as the transmission slipped let off the accelerator got back in the other lane as the truck dies pulled over cycled ignition off restarted the truck no check engine lights no nothing pulled back onto the highway got about a mile down the road seemed as the transmission was slipping again truck dies and won't restart due to a dead battery put a new battery in the truck cranked it over started but sounded as though a camshaft bearing or something in the top end of the engine it had spun or went out only code it's throwing is a camshaft exhaust sensor code but makes a hell of a racket any thoughts

My initial thought was perhaps battery power was lost due to electrical system failure, causing a lack of power and eventual stall. But it sure does sound like something else has happened here. It will take hands on inspection. No guessing can be made here. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
Timing chain component malfunction is likely cause. Trained EAR of experienced auto mechanic is invaluable! Trouble codes may be helpful.
