Is it possible to adjust the shifting cable on my 2009 Chevy Colorado?

My truck won't go into park. I can get underneath the truck and put it into park by hand, but I don't know how to adjust that cable. I have been told that some chevy's have the ablility to adjust the cable, but I am not sure if mine has that ability.
