Why does my gauge cluster stop working when I turn my radio on ?

I own a 2007 Chevy Colorado 2.9 L, I just recently installed an aftermarket stereo that works intermittently, sometimes it turns right on, and sometimes I have to unplug and replug the wiring harness to get it to turn on again. Also when it does decide to turn on, my A/C compressor stops working and most of my gauge cluster except for mileage and any codes (Check engine, TPMS, etc.) turns off completely. I don't know if the radio is pulling too much power or if I wired something wrong, any suggestions would be appreciated to try and resolve this.

Obviously some-thing went wrong.
Furthermore - all of the vehicles ‘body electrical’ is module controlled - so it’s very possible the dash unit is incompatible.
