Light came on driving to work. no noises or warning. A/C compressor is not turning on now either. The car is a 2008 Chevy Cobalt All fluid levels are good.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing.

Sounds like either the thermostat is bad or maybe the temp sensor is bad. Need to know what trouble codes it has to have a better guess.
