DRL Lights not working

Oh my gosh! I hope you've gotten an answer to this from another source! This just happened on my sons car. Although I haven't tried to repair it yet, (just started looking into it today) the bulk of responses on the net say this is caused by failure of one of the headlights, running lights, turn signals, etc. One of my sons headlights died a couple of weeks ago, which is when this problem started. Will be replacing bulb this weekend, so I suspect the problem to go away. There are also a few different ways people say to clear the error once the problem is fixed. I have a scanner, so I'm assuming it will clear the error after replacing the bulb. If not, I'll go through the process of fully depressing the accelerator at various timed intervals. As I implied, I REALLY HOPE you've already gotten this fixed without paying a dealer $100+ to replace a $10 - $20 bulb!
