When the air stops coming from the dash vents ... Does the air then start blowing out of the defrost vents ?? .. If the fan is still running.. Got to be blowing the air somewhere!
That's what I'm saying. It's still blowing just not out the vents. It sounds like it's blowing into the dash or something. What could cause this and how do I fix it????
All I can tell you is there 'IS' a vacuum line that goes from the engines intake manifold into the inside of the car that supplies vacuum to the heater/AC air mode selector .. For what ever reason there is no vacuum being feed to the control.. Now whether it's broken, unhooked or missing I can't say.. Look for a vacuum hose routing diagram decal under the hood, maybe that will help.

Not much if any
Find and repair the vacuum leak under hood on passenger side .. Small plastic vacuum tubing broken or un-hooked. Mode selector is vacuum actuated.
Thanks I'll try to find it

Can not find a vacuum line no where on the passenger side
It will be a small 3/16 plastic tubing going into the firewall on passenger side.
I don't see anything like that. All I see on the passenger side is the heater core lines going through the firewall Could it be unhooked????
