Have you been 'positively' seating the axle then make SURE the retainer clip is engaged property by slightly pulling out on axle shaft after installing it into transaxle to be sure it doesn't pull back out?
I agree with Pushrod. Recommend you have an experienced technician figure this out. Make sure you share all of the information about the prior failures. It is this type of information that will help the shop get your car fixed quicker and for less money.
Yes we have done that it keeps breaking from the CV joint busting out of the boot yesterday when I put the new axle in then I started the car up put it in gear and soon as I did that it started jumping took it back out of gear and looked at it and noticed the boot with split like the rest I'm wondering if it could be the transmission itself that's breaking the boot
Wrong length axle shaft (too short) or improper installition proceedure if it's pulling the inboard cv joint apart.... That's all it can be!! .. What engine has it got and is it 3 speed auto... 4 speed auto or manual shift transmission?
We were thinking the same thing that's what made us get the axle from the junkyard it is a three speed is a 2/2
