I have had to replace 4 belt tensioners in 1 year at 2 different repair shops

What is your question?

The tensioners under warranty & they replaced it . Had 2 after market parts & 2 GM parts

What problem/symptom has been the reason for tensioner replacement? Noise or belt flying off?

It is making a constant noise when excellerating - ticking sound sometimes louder than other times but always a noise under the hood, they also replaced the belt last time

Was the noise gone COMPLETELY , each time they replaced the parts, for how long?.....Sounds like an underlying issue that's being missed.

I think your right,picked car up today & had to leave it again, noise still there. what to do now? It doesn't even seem like they tested it, when you put foot on gas pedal noise is there? It did seem like the first 2 times it was quieter,but the last 2 times unsatisfactory results. It is drive able .
