What is your question?
DTC says vss, and O2 reading rich, all known sensors, fuel injector, relays, fuel pump, fuel filter, vacume hoses, electronic firing modual mounted under coil pal replaced, new rebuilt ECM from O'rileys but had to use main control chip out of old ECM.when problem first appeared DTC codes were bad computer and vss, with the injector dripping fuel in,now has fine cone shaped spray pattern; but only runs smooth if throttle is floored for higher speeds, you can see cloud of smoke blow out exhaust momentarily till I let up on throttle
Coolant temp is a manual hard wired gauge, like this when I acquired the car, temp is always in th 190-195 temp range and used to get 30-35mpg,cloud of smoke at all times is black, smells too rich like flooded carb, must constantly throttle up,let off, throttle up,let off to keep vehicle Running, problem started about two years after owning the car, showed up suddenly, that was when bad computer DTC,and vss( vehicle speed sensor) DTC showed, since ;,all known sensors electronic modual and computer replaced including EGR valve,O2 sensor car only gets about 9.5 mpg at present; yet starts on first crank; could EPROM chip be bad?
The coolant temperature sensor is what tells the computer what temp the engine is so fuel delivery can be adjusted!!.. (What are the code numbers?)... Computer MUST have sensor input to determine how much fuel engines needs, like a choke on the old models... Scan test with proper scanner is a must.. Good luck with this one!
I use a innova 3120 CanOBD2&1 scan tool, the only DTC's that have been showing are DTC 24,DTC45, temp sensor sending unit (2 wire plug)reads high when cold and low when up to operating temp;the only time this car runs decent is when I'm flooring it,then runs smooth and hard till I let up on the throttle and right away starts flooding out and running rough;no vacume leaks or wire shorts that we can locate, service manual says it is rare but EPROM can go bad. We have been trying to figure this out for some time,no one local comes up with any help.
