It will start if it has been in the garage or if it's above 32 degrees. I was told to replace the coolant temp sensor because when they go bad they read -40 degrees & dump to much fuel into the motor causing it to flood. What else could be the issue causing it to not start. 92 caprice wagon 5.0L
Yes I did replace it & the new updated pig tail to fit the sensor.
Scan test needed to view live data 'before' cold start!
will have to find someone with obd1 scan tool so i can have that done
Any auto repair shop should be equipped for that!.. In fact should be able to scan test with live data from 1980 1/2 to at least 2013..!
