What is the oil pressure supposed to be? And is it normal to flucuate while driving?

I've never really looked at the gauge before and today noticed it was moving around. Higher pressure while accelerating. Back to lower psi while idling or maintaining a speed. Just curious what the norm is supposed to look like.
