Oddly enough, the idiot light for the steering wheel airbag just started to flash yesterday, but what triggered it was the replacement of the driver seat, which had been causing THAT airbag idiot light to flash until it was changed. Somehow, by replacing the seat with the faulty airbag, which required me to pull the old seats connection pin and connect the new seat in its place during installation, I seem to have caused the issue that prompted the earlier recalls to show its ugly face. Not Fair! But then, it's for the best I suppose, rather than waiting any length of time to manifest which would wind up leading me to wonder what had actually caused it later. At least this way I KNOW. Different but Related Question to follow...

Hello, and thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, the service was limited to the end of April 2014, and to make things worse the service tech at my local Chevrolet dealership told me that my vehicle had already been serviced for both recall notices by a previous owner back in 2012 & 2014, so she is not eligible any longer anyhow. But for $145 they'll run a diagnostic check and if it IS the same issue it won't cost me anything further to reset it again. By the way, this dealership is NOT officially a part of the RepairPal program. FUN!!
i really don't use the repair pal recall info,i google it and go by the real recall info..good luck..
