What is your question?
I have already tried replacing the motor and that is not the problem. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Also, when the driver window stops working, the passenger stops working as well. HELP! My windows are down and I need them up

Sounds like you have a broken wire this is common to happen in the rubber conduit between the door and body between the door hinges
Replace the master switch... Passenger window/switch won't work either if master switch fails!! .. Intermittent switch failure due to worn contacts is common on older vehicles.... (1996)
Thanks for your reply. I know even brand new parts can fail but it is a fairly new switch. It was the first thing I replaced when the problem started.
Pull the switch and test for power and ground... One of those is missing!!.. Use jumper leads to make your own circuit for testing... Whether it be ground or power that is needed.. Test for power at the motor connector with switch activated first! Good luck with it!
Thanks for the response. I have already checked the wires in the boot but i have found no broken wires. It's becoming quite frustrating.
Have you figured out whether you are losing power or ground to the driver window switch?
I guess it could be a ground issue...needle in a haystack if it's a ground. Any ideas where to look. Keep in mind that when the driver window quits, the passenger window won't work either
Gm likes to put the ground pack under the sill plate remove the plastic trim at the bottom of the door opening it will be a connector with several black wires bolted to the body by the edge of the carpet unplug it if its corroded with white and green crust clean it and reconnect it also make sure the 10mm bolt is tight
