What is your question?
someone tried to steal my truck I went to the junkyard and got a different steering column I've replaced cap and rotor spark plugs spark plug wires coil coil pack crankshaft sensor fuel pump fuel pump relay battery new manifold gaskets lower and upper camshaft sensor iac valve new fuel filter ignition module maf sensor new starter and I still have a crank but no start situation
the steering column I got from the junkyard had its own key and key lock cylinder and key housing are you saying that its just not reading the key what if I took the key lock cylinder housing off of a old steering column and put it in there do you think it would read it then
DO YOU HAVE SPARK AND FUEL PRESSURE?
It just woke up but yeah I have no spark and I have good fuel pressure I will change out the key lock cylinder housing but first I'll check all my fuses and make sure I have spark at my coil and spark plug wires does that sound like the right order. OK I look at the key lock cylinder housing it's not the same as mine it has an extra wire in the top of it which mine did not have so do I need to change the ignition switch which is the wiring harness 0r do I need to change the key lock cylinder housing only wait a minute with the key on I have no power to my coil but the key off I power to my coil
no security light is on at the moment I did the relearn but it didn't help I'm not getting any spark from my coil should I be looking at the ignition switch
First... Does it even have a security light ?.. Ever seen one on this truck?? May not have the pass-lock system.
Yes it has one but after I get to relearn it went out I had to put a different steering column and it from a junkyard is it possible that that steering column could have a different anti theft
Yes I read that .. That's the reason I ask those questions!.. The passlock system should not keep it from getting fire, it turns off injector pulse... But you have the wrong key now and the system don't reconize it.. I think you have two problems... Test all fuses first using a test light with key on.. Then test for battery voltage at coil + terminal...key on.
