What is your question?
This is a 1985 Chevy 2500 pickup. I have put two master cylinders on and am about to put a third in three years. They all keep losing fluid from the back reservoir and leaking it into the brake booster. This truck gets driven very little, usually only about six months out of the year and then usually just short trips locally. what is causing these master cylinders to be going out so often?

Seal between the booster and master cylinder missing or damaged? Where are the parts being purchased??
Have the rear drums actually been pulled and the wheel cylinders inspected?
The rear wheel cylinders were replaced last year.
THAT was last year ! What about NOW.....We ARE trying to help...........
These master cylinders are from O'reilly auto parts.
And the answer to my other question...,,?
Are you knocking O'reilly.
Nope... Just trying to help 'you' out!... Just need to know if the seal is there!!
I haven't pulled this one yet. I am just expecting it to be leaking between the m/c and the booster because there is no leaks under the truck and the rear reservoir is dry.
