why would oil go into the transmission

What is your question?

When I add oil in the engine it does not fill up. Instead it has gone into the transmission. It does not even show on my oil dip stick, but the transmission dipstick has oil in it ( over full). I drained oil from the oil pan plug and the amount went down in the transmission.

What makes this problem better or worse?
