What is your question?
I have a 2000 chevy blazer with the 4.3 in it. It only cranks and won't start unless you put starting fluid in the intake. Even then it only runs for a second and dies. I've replaced the fuel pump, filter, spark plugs, and distribiter cap and button, still won't start. It has spark & fuel. Is it in a security lock out mode? I just can't figure out the issue.
How long has your 2000 Chevrolet Blazer had this problem?
A month or so.

FIRST > Have a helper turn the key on - while you listen for the fuel pump at the filler neck with gas cap removed .. IF you do not hear the pump run for 2 seconds - check for blown fuel pump fuse in under hood fuse box .... Don't start looking for anything else until you check for the fuel pump to turn on for 2 seconds. Let me know the results.
This is going to be hard to diagnose with any certainty online. Definitely don't want to see you throw more parts at it. Here is a link to to help you find a shop near you.https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Alex
Fuel pressure should be around 60psi cranking. Have you check the pressure with a gauge?
Do the fuel pump test FIRST! .. DO NOT start looking for anything else until you know for SURE the fuel pump is turning on for 2 seconds when the key is turned on.. GM’s passkey III security system will not keep fuel pump from operating. IF the Blazer does indeed have the passkey III security system ((many did not)) the security light in dash would be flashing if system is activated. IS the security light flashing? Post these results for more help with the next step - if needed.
