do you need a special key to get car started for security and get fuel pump to r

car was towed to my garage,spraying either into carb and it run breifly (TO PROOVE IT WILL RUN BEFORE BUYING CAR), the key I have I dont believe is the security coded key. battery I beleive has a dead cell in it, it wouldnt charge up much after all day on charger. going in town to buy a new battery. you didnt answer my question about the key being a coded security key to activate fuel pump.

Does it have a security light on the dash with key on????? HELL it probably ain't got the pass key system on it to start with!!!!!!
