my speedometer does not work after I installed rebuilt transmission

What is your question?

I rebuilt my transmission on 02 blazer. after I have took it for a ride the speedometer does not work and the car does not shift in auto (D) drive I can shift in from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd but when it goes to in 3rd it downshits to 1st

Suspect problem is within the speed sensor at the transmission - a scan tool that has live data will make short work of this diagnosis.

Drive gear on tail shaft or driven gear on sensor is likely suspect. Good luck!
