Brakes grinding when I got the brakes

What is your question?

When I hit the brakes it sound like their gridding I was holding the brakes yesterday and I noticed it felt like I lost my brake of course I didn't but it seemed fine then I got down the road and it started grindding and it's like it locks the brakes when I fully stop and then you can feel when I start to go it unlocks what do I do

What makes this problem better or worse?

Not hitting the brakes it's okay
