Should my 98 blazer run at 2000rpms?

I have another vehicle that runs at different rpms but with a blazer i am not sure what its suppose to run at. 98 blazer V6 4x4

2000 rpm under what conditions? .. Driving down highway? .. Idling in park? .. Stopped with transmission in gear?

Just driving down the road, but when i get upto 65 its at 3ooo.
Have transmission *professionally* scan tested - suspect torque converter lock-up not functioning properly. That is the highest possible gear and should result in lowest engine rpms while cruising - ‘IF’ it is working correctly.
