What is your question?
I've got to replace the harness in my 4l60e transmission and am worried about the accumulator gasket ,do they make a replacement or do I have to take valve body off? Don't want to tear down transmission just to replace a gasket.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Think there's a short in wire harness
How long has your 1998 Chevrolet Blazer had this problem?
A few weeks

You’d be ahead of the game to ohm out the harness to confirm short circuit! I highly recommend *hands-on* assistance from qualified personnel as I do not know your skill level. Lastly - IF you are careful - the accumulator can be removed without gasket damage, Good luck!
DO NOT REMOVE the valve body while transmission is in the vehicle!
