Fuel pump relay is the second one from the passenger side fender. mounted on the firewall bracket... That the one you disconnected???

thanks turns out the oil pressure sending unit was bad and the cause the fuel pump to continue as if there was oil pressure constantly . electronis, i sure liked old school cars and trucks. Happy New Year

The fuel pump relay is stuck in the closed position!.. Replace relay..
