Hardtop not working, will not go up or down, battery just replaced. any ideas.

read info in your owners manual oh how to change the battery and what must be done after it's installed.

Just had the same with my 2004 XLR.. Tents unit didn't work over the winter the winter /dead battery. But a friend of mine the replaced (2) motor's in both doors said you had to lowering the window's (car running) wait 5 sec's. raise both windows and your computer will reset .. I did that today with my top not raising up or down.. and wa-la.... It WORKED. don't know why... but it now goes up and down.. HOPE IT DOES THE SAME FOR YOU.. LET ME KNOW. It beats taking your car to a dealer and having them do the same and charging you for new modules, wiring, and re-setting your computer when it is not necessary.. take care... Jerry
