You can hear the computer in the dashboard booting up for 30 seconds after the car starts. It just start doing this recently. Is this normal?

It did not do this until recently. Now I can hear the disk drive 4 separate times of about 5 seconds over a period of 30 seconds.

Aside from the noise are you having any issues? I would say if its bothering you and it never did it before than there is probably something going on but it will require hands on testing to determine the exact cause. Alex

Sure that's not the CD player you're hearing? ... GM stereos will do that at times .. Just so you know.

Even without a cd inserted - they will do that! As stated - are you having any other problems?
