possibly no problem. just want to monitor.

Normal operating temperature is approximately 200°f - give or take a few degrees .. That puts the temperature gauge pointer / hand in about the center / middle of gauge.
Instrumentation is configured so at glance the operator can observe all gauges pointers are approximately in center - with the exception of fuel gauge. There is also a warning chime that will sound should any vital monitoring instrument be reading abnormally.
