My air bag light is on. How do you fix. Cadillac ext 2008. Is there a recall on it.

Most of the time when this light comes on it is due to a faulty occupant sensor in the passenger seat or a bad clock spring in the steering column. The only way to know for sure is to have the vehicles computer scanned for codes. You will need to have this done by a shop with the correct software. >>>call the dealer with the vin#,see if there is a recall on the SRS system.they have that info.
