What is your question?
I’ve had my Cadillac Escalade for 18 years, the center and front brake lines are extremely rusted and have begun to squirt fluid out after the car turned on. The break pad touches the floor when pressed therefore, I no longer drive. GMC states that some of their models’ brake lines (2000-2009) are known to rust after long periods of time and suggests replacing ALL brake lines at once. I purchased a brake line kit from GMC( includes all 5 brake lines) $137, but I’m unaware of what I should pay in labor costs........Please HELP!
What makes this problem better or worse?
worst when engine running, brake fluid squirts out
How long has your 2002 Cadillac Escalade had this problem?
A few months,

RUST will also make brake line replacement more difficult which in turn means additional labor cost. Thing is no one can possibly know how long this will take until the repairs have been completed. There is a very good possibility more replacement parts will be required also - when removing rusted brake lines - the component the line connects to may also be rusted beyond re-use and will have to be replaced. Therefore the usual procedure is based and time and materials used.. Good luck!
SOME-TIMES you get lucky and everything goes as planed - however more times than not it doesn’t when it comes to this particular repair - (45+ years in the business)
