My vehicle is a 1997 Eldorado and this seems to happen mainly when stopped at a stoplight or stop sign. I have not had any other problems with my vehicle. Other thank just before this started it had started overheating, but never showed any messages or signs of overheating while going down the road, it would just start steaming when engine was turned off. This happened a couple times, not every time vehicle was driven; and a couple weeks after this is when the message of Low Oil Pressure - Shut Engine Off started happening. My husband is going to put an oil pressure gauge on it to see if it is really Low Pressure, or if it may be an electrical malfunction due to the age of the car. Can you tell me what the normal Oil Pressure should be while driving and while idling at a stoplight ?
