Bad wheel bearings? After an hour of driving, wheel bearings do not get hot. If I coast down hill in neutral whirring noise is still there. When I coast down hill and turn the engine off, whirring noise is still there till I come to a full stop. The noise does change pitch as vehicle slows or speeds up. Transmission fluid is full, clean and has no odor. There are no leaks under car. CV joints?
