Problem started when put in new battery plugged up new battery drove home then next day went to start fuel pump came on then barely cranked over now pump won't stop

Hello, there needs to be further troubleshooting happening here to find out what's going on. Is the fuel pump working or not? Is the anti-theft system preventing starting? Too hard to say until more information is known.
