What does it mean when the traction disabled light comes on?

The traction control light is disabled when the ABS light comes on as the traction control is controlled through the abs system, so when an ABS component has failed, or a short/open in abs wiring harness and is detected by the ABS control module, both the ABS warning light is set and traction control is disabled.
