Key gets stuck in in ignition Cadillac cts

What is your question?

Car starts. When I try to take the key out of ignition it get stuck and won’t come out unless I use a pen top or a tool under the steering wheel .

What makes this problem better or worse?

Engine is fine

Shift interlock doesn’t think shifter is fully engaged in PARK.
