What is your question?
My 05 Cadillac CTS originally had a misfire in cylinder 2. I changed the all of the spark plugs and coil packs, but still misfired. So I changed the fuel injector, still misfired. I installed a new wiring harness to all six fuel injectors. Now the misfire is gone, but the car stalls out. I'll start it, then within about three seconds it stalls. The code said it was a bank 1 cam sensor, I changed that, and it didn't fix the problem. I can't seem to pinpoint why it keeps stalling now, and won't stay running.
How long has your 2005 Cadillac CTS had this problem?
A week

Could possibly look into crankshaft positioning sensor.
Security light on in dash?
Trouble codes are only a guide to aid in diagnosis - they do not indicate that a part has failed! Furthermore - false codes can easily be induced while *other work* is in progress .. Good luck!
I does have a security system, however I don’t remember seeing the light on. The battery light stays on, but I just assumed it was because the engine stalled. The check engine light is not on either.
No, That would be experience And when your finished, You should always re-scan and clear codes, Then run to op temp and re-scan again..
I did the same things that you did and ends up I had to replace the ECM (electronic control module) Best price I could find for replacement was at Rock Auto! You will still have to take it somewhere to have the ecm downloaded to reset everything! cost around $1000.00 to have dealer replace ecm and reset the computer! Hope this helps because like you this about drove me nuts!!! Good Luck
The code was coming up that it was a cam shaft sensor. I only changed one of the sensors and that was Bank1. Do you think I need to change the other intake one? Or just try the crank shaft sensor first? It wasn’t coming up any code for the crankshaft.
