how to reglue plastic backup light cover

#M makes a industrial strength two-sided tape called VHB Tape. The VHB stands for Very High Bond. You can get it at any thickness and it will not come off once it's applied. it will seal the edges as well. To remove this tape you will need a razor. This should solve your problem.
