At stop sign, when accelerating my 2012 Buick Verano (used) engine shut off. I put car in reverse and let it roll backwards into parking lot, put into park and restart. Now "check-engine" light is on
I put car into park then pressed "start-engine" button and car started but now "check-engine" light is on.
The 2012 Buick Verano purchased used with 72,371. Due to COVID I telework from home and barely drive and it sits all week until weekend for shopping for provisions. This is first time car engine shut off at stop sign. I have medical appointments and surgery week of October 26 and surgery October 29th. Is this major with check-engine light on?
