Is it safe with this vehicle to use a lighter to heat key for frozen locks?
What is your question?
This is the nicest newest car I've had. I am used to using a lighter to heat the key if the locks are frozen so the remote or the key won't open it. Is it safe to do so with this vehicle too?
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 2012 Buick Verano. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
I would not heat the original key as it has a security chip inside it that might get damaged.. You may not have that problem with this vehicle to start with..
