would a 2002 transmission fit a 2004 buick rendezvous

Salvage yard parts interchange (P.C.-Auto-recyclers?) or dealer. May 'fit' physically , but software/sensors/controls may be different.

I know the radiators and window parts and peices are interchangeable, but you can also call you local part store and ask if the transmission is as well. They can look it up by the part numbers. If the part numbers are the same they are interchangeable.
