Sometimes the message "Remote not detected Press brake to start car" comes on after I've been driving, parked, and turned off the car. It beeps if I open the door, so I have to restart then shut off the car again to clear this. Any ideas?
How long has your 2016 Buick Regal had this problem?

Possibly weak battery in remote - try the other one.
There should be another one for that vehicle!
